Research Group Participated in the 10th Youth Geoscience Forum in Hefei
2025-05-13

From May 10th to 12th, 2025, the 10th Youth Geoscience Forum was held in Hefei, Anhui Province. The forum attracted researchers from numerous universities and research institutions. With 22 themes covering various fields such as geology, oceanography, and environment, and 344 sub - topics, it provided a valuable communication platform for young geoscience researchers.

Teacher Zhang Jun and two postgraduate students, Ji Duanyang and Liu Rui, from our research group attended the forum. At the special session of "Water Information Remote Sensing Technology and Applications" under the theme of "Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Science", Teacher Zhang Jun served as the host and presented a talk titled "Research on the Impact of Photovoltaics on Evapotranspiration Based on Energy Models", introducing the research results on the impact of the photovoltaic industry on surface energy and water cycle, which sparked discussions among the participants.

Postgraduate students Ji Duanyang and Liu Rui also shared their research findings. Ji Duanyang reported on "Reshaping Global Rainfall Erosivity: A Study on Precipitation Phase Correction from 2015 to 2022", elaborating on the significance of precipitation phase correction in soil erosion research. Liu Rui's presentation, "Influence of Urban Morphology on the Dynamic Exposure of Populations to Floods—A Case Study of the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration", analyzed the relationship between urban morphology and flood risks, offering references for urban planning and flood control.
