Congratulations! PhD Student Zhu Jingxuan and Master's Students Yang Xin and Song Yuqi Successfully Graduated
2025-05-20

Recently, our research group received good news: PhD student Zhu Jingxuan, and master's students Yang Xin and Song Yuqi successfully passed their thesis defenses, marking a significant milestone in their academic journeys.

On May 7, 2025, Zhu Jingxuan, a PhD student, successfully completed her doctoral defense with excellent performance and was officially awarded a PhD degree. Focusing on radar remote sensing and rainfall energy, Zhu's doctoral thesis Calculation of Global Rainfall Energy Based on Radar Remote Sensing Data and Evaluation of Its Erosion Effects leveraged radar remote sensing technology to explore methods for calculating global rainfall energy and scientifically evaluate its erosion effects, providing important theoretical and practical references for related research.

On May 19, master's students Yang Xin and Song Yuqi also passed their thesis defenses and were awarded master's degrees. Yang Xin concentrated on urban flood disaster system modeling. In her thesis Spatio-temporal Simulation of Urban Flood Risk Integrated with Disaster Adaptation Measures, she focused on urban flood risks, integrated disaster adaptation strategies, and constructed accurate spatio-temporal simulation models, offering new ideas and methods for urban flood prevention and mitigation. Song Yuqi dedicated her research to hydrological simulation. Her thesis Spatio-temporal Simulation of Regional Water Stress Integrated with the Impact of Photovoltaics innovatively combined the influence of photovoltaics with hydrological models, quantitatively analyzed the impact of photovoltaics on the spatio-temporal distribution of water resources, and revealed the changing patterns of water stress under the combined effects of climate and photovoltaics, providing new insights for water resource management.
